Q: Hi Nikki! Could you please introduce yourself?

A: Hi!! Im Nikki, I’m the owner of Natural Features Studio. I became a licensed esthetician and herbalist while living in Colorado, and recently moved back home to Michigan. I’m also the Lead Esthetician at Kiwa Studio, I specialize in NeoLifting and holistic modalities such as gua sha. I’m deeply inspired by botanical skincare, intentional self-care rituals, storytelling, and am excited to find aligned volunteer work and community connection.

Q: What’s something that is a non-negotiable in your daily rituals?

A: Definitely a tea of some sort- usually herbal or chai. My skincare routine is also non-negotiable, of course.

Q: Is there something that you felt called to when it came to herbalism? (Or what inspired you to get into it?)

A: I first felt called to herbalism before I even realized that’s what it was. I would spend hours at my vanity blending botanical oils, butters, and herbs like lavender- observing the textures, scents, and how they interacted with the skin. It became such a grounding, sensory ritual for me and felt like a way to connect more deeply with the earth. Since studying herbalism, I’ve become fascinated by the medicinal power of plants and the way they can support healing physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Q: What’s your favorite product from the Kiwa Studio line?

A: This is so hard because I genuinely use all of them regularly. If I had to choose just one, I’d probably say the Face + Body Oil™ - I use it in every facial. The Gentle Detox Mask™ is also my favorite reset for exfoliation and clearing away dead skin, and I truly believe everyone should have a botanical balm like the Repair Balm Concentrate™ in their routine.

Q: What do you do when you feel like you need a creative reset?

A: I go into nature. I love observing wildlife and slowing down enough to notice the small details around me. It helps me reconnect to inspiration and perspective. And honestly, an evening spent laughing with my friends is priceless too.
